GiraffeLight Media gains attention from its ‘odd’ and ‘unusual’ name. The name was crafted by founder, Stephanie Katz for its rich symbolism. The giraffe, which happens to be Stephanie’s favorite animal, is a symbol of power, elegance, femininity and strong communication skills and eloquence. The lightbulb represents being a light in the darkness, a shining beacon of truth, a symbol of hope, and a conduit of Godly revelation and wisdom. GiraffeLight Media aims to embody all of these characteristics in the way it produces content, engages with clients and customers, and runs its business.



GiraffeLight Media is the brainchild of founder, Stephanie Katz. Stephanie has a B.A. in Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University, a M.A. in Film Studies from Arizona State University, and is in the last year of her Ph.D. program in English Literature Narrative Studies from the University of Birmingham in the U.K.


Stephanie is passionate about media and content creation in all forms. She aims to create visually stimulating and eye-catching materials that represent the branding message of small businesses. Stephanie understands that a client’s brand is their story, and she is dedicating to taking that story and transforming it into meaningful visual content that can be shared online, on social media, in video, and in print.



GiraffeLight Media is a one-stop shop multimedia marketing solo-preneurship. Stephanie produces everything from websites to infographics; is capable of handling full-scale video production from pre-production, production, and post-production; and creates and executes marketing campaigns that target the specific audience niche defined by each individual small business.

Our content strategy is built upon fostering relationships with your online community and encouraging dialogue through value content that seeks to educate and inform in easy-to-apply ways, through entertaining content that shows a brand’s personality, and through conversation-generating posts such as polls, short answer questions, and content that demands to be shared with friends.
